ketchup recipe

This is the recipe I use when making ketchup.  It taste great and stays good in the fridge for a long time.


 KETCHUP 

2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1/2 cup white vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons molasses
2 1/2 cups water

 Combine all of the ingredients in a pot. Heat to a boil, then simmer (stirring frequently) until its your perfect ketchup consistency. This may get messy and splatter, so beware :)

makes roughly 16oz
