Plumbing chase

We installed the 3" plumbing chases for freshwater plumbing from the cistern - local code requires the chase to be two pipe sizes larger than water pipe. The plans call for two chases for the cisterns but we are going to run a third water line from our solar well pump.

The freshwater lines run under the cisterns so I made the chases long enough to run from the tire wall to the other side of the cisterns. This way if there is ever a problem with the water lines we can dig down behind the cisterns and remove the pipe by sliding it out of the 15' chase.
