Today we got the go ahead to apply for the building permits for our house! Without any alterations to the global earthship model plans. I cannot put into words how happy I am right now!
Congratulations! We are in an apartment right now but are researching like crazy to figure out all that we have to do to start building our Earthship home. The permits are the part we are most worried about, about how to we find a piece of land that is sure to pass without, like you mentioned, any alterations to the blueprints. I'm new to your blog but I'm surely following it. I could really use knowing more people who are building these homes because we are wanting to get started ASAP. I just have so many questions I'm trying to find an answer to. If you are at all available for questions let me know. I know you are just getting started and are probably super busy so I'd understand if you are not. All the best to you and I look forward to reading more!
